THE STORY
From Near-Burnout to Building Systems
In 2010, Henry Tolbert, Jr. planted a church with just eight people in his living room. Within four years, that small beginning grew into a thriving community of over 400 people across three services an exciting miracle that nearly broke him.
It was in the chaos of answered prayer that Henry discovered the power of systems. Leading a rapidly growing church without sustainable structures led to exhaustion, strained relationships, and a season where he questioned everything.
From there, he launched Simple Systems Consulting and built the flagship program, Church Systems in a Box, to help pastors implement the tools, structure, and support needed to lead with clarity and scale their impact without sacrificing their health or family.
Today, Henry works with pastors of small to mid-sized churches across the country, helping them build healthy systems that sustain revival. The Comeback Plan is the culmination of everything he's learned about church revitalization.
